About
Jansen Cadorna
Software developer, product builder, and student founder.

I'm based in Manila, Philippines, and started programming at age 12. I learned by building things that forced me past what I already understood, from websites and automation workflows to SaaS products and infrastructure experiments.
Today I work across engineering, product, and design. I like taking an idea from a clear problem through interface design, implementation, deployment, and the less glamorous work of making it useful after launch.
I'm also a first-year BS Computer Science student at PLM and the Web Development Lead at GDGoC PLM, alongside freelance web development and graphic design work.
What I do
I build full-stack web products with a focus on practical architecture, clear interfaces, AI integrations, and automation. The work usually sits between software engineering and product decisions rather than treating them as separate stages.

How I work
I learn best through real projects: define the smallest complete version, ship it, observe where it breaks, and improve one weak part at a time. That pressure builds judgment faster than collecting disconnected tutorials.
I design before coding when the interface carries product decisions, keep architecture proportional to the problem, and use AI as a tool rather than a substitute for understanding. The goal is focused software that people can actually use.
I write more about learning through projects, designing before coding, and building Abstruck. Find the rest under notes.
